Diagnostics

At Village Veterinary Practice, our goal is keeping your pet happy and healthy. Thanks to modern diagnostics and our on-site laboratory, we're able to do just that for sick and injured pets.

Our veterinary nursing staff are trained and qualified perform diagnostic tests in our laboratory.  Blood, urine, fecal, skin, ear and needle aspirate samples are evaluated, often during the visit. More complex tests are sent out to our network of veterinary exclusive laboratories. This combination of services allows efficient and rapid turnaround of results which, in turn, contributes to the best possible patient care.

Diagnostic imaging allows us to examine your pet’s internal organs and body systems to better diagnose their conditions. There are different types of diagnostic imaging and the type your pet needs will depend on their symptoms and the affected area of the body.
