Veterinary Technician (CVT)

Village Veterinary Practice

About the Role

We are seeking a full-time Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of clinical working experience, communicates effectively, enjoys helping their team, and has strong attention to detail. As a nurse at VVP, your skills and education will be highly utilized. You will run in-house cytologies, read FNAs, perform cystocentesis and place urinary catheters, provide nursing care for hospitalized patients, and more. We believe in letting our nurses work to the full extent of their licenses to better support our doctors and patients. You'll also enjoy a great work-life balance, supportive work environment, and generous benefits.

Village Veterinary Practice was established in 2000 to provide the best possible veterinary care to pet patients and their families. We are an AAHA accredited general practice and utilize Fear Free methods whenever possible.  We have two clinics - one in both Clarendon Hills and Western Springs. The Clarendon Hills location is open M-F and the staff of both practices rotate through Saturday shifts. This usually means one (or less) Saturday shift per month! Without boarding or grooming services, we are fully focused on providing high-quality patient care. Join our team of dedicated professionals who are committed to improving the lives of animals through exceptional veterinary care. We look forward to welcoming you!
